Summary

We’re looking for an arts technician to facilitate arts and crafts activities for groups of neurodivergent young people. Through our groups, we're aiming to re-build the wellbeing of neurodivergent young people who want to spend more time outside their home but find it difficult because of anxiety.

You will work in two weekly creative groups on a Tuesday and Thursday evening (approx 6-8pm) for up to eight autistic girls and gender non-conforming young people (aged 11-16) who are experiencing anxiety and isolation.

You’ll enjoy building positive relationships with young people, and running activities based around their interests and which give them the freedom to explore things and express themselves.

The group will offer young person-led, creative activities as per their interests, eg drawing, painting, writing, making slime, zines, jewellery, drawing and crafting, board games, music... whatever takes their fancy!
